Look what I can do!

We thought that Gage was getting bored by just laying around these days. He wants to be upright and mobile. So our solution to this, a bouncer. HE LOVES IT! He can see what's going on around him but doesn't have to be held. Don't get me wrong, Greg & I adore this little boy and would love nothing but to hold him all day long. BUT, we need to get things done around the house and this is a good way for everyone to be happy! Take note that he is just a few days over 4 months old here and see how long he is!

Best Friends in the Making?

Best Friends in the making? I think so! It seem that since Gage has made his presence in the house a little bit more known these days, Ruby has taken a whole new interest in him! And by interest I mean she likes to shower him with kisses...AKA...dog licks!
Ruby is still full of cohos and Greg is forever fussing Ruby, but all in all she does pretty well with Gage and is doing better on a daily basis.

TRICK OR TREAT!!

Other then being born on the 4Th of July, Halloween is Gage's first holiday. We wanted to dress him up, take him to the Halloween parade in town and then go home and pass out candy. He was a champ! He wasn't bothered at all by the array of scary faces that knocked on the door. Or when he got his picture taken with Ronald McDonald during the parade! Gage even did a little door to door trick-or-treating himself. Don't worry, Mom & Dad will keep you candy safe for you until you can have it!

Thanks Crystal & Wesley for Gage's first Halloween costume! He was our little deer and Greg wore his camo to the parade! It was too cute.

Grammy & Pappy Myers Visit

Grammy can't seem to go more then a few weeks with out seeing her little Grandson. Both her and Pappy have tried to "steal" Gage on a few trips. They never seem to quite make it out the door though!

Grammy could eat Gage up all day long!

He seems to already know the love his Grammy & Pappy have for him!

Greg's First Pheasant Kill

Greg proudly showing off his two ring neck pheasants that he shot in late October. He was so happy to have shot one pheasant, much less two! He wanted to pose with his "bird dog" and his son. Although neither of them were along for the hunt, he hopes that some day all three of them can go hunting!

4 Months Old & Counting

Gage seems to amaze us more and more these days. We joke and tell people that our baby is "advanced!" He is rolling over the instant you put him on the ground. Not to mention his legs won't and don't stop kicking. This kid is ready to be mobile and is working hard at it! He is just about sitting on his own. If he wouldn't be so interested in his feet he might just stay upright. As soon has he sees his feet, he tumbles forward! He is doing well at Daycare and the ladies there are almost in competition to see whom can get their hands on him the longest each day! It's nice to know that our child is so loved by complete strangers. He sure does know how to get the ladies!
He sure does love his baths now. He loves to slash by kicking his feet. This is one of my favorite baby "chores," bath time! Look at that smile, don't you just want to eat him up?

Check out my new set of wheels!

These two pictures just crack me up. He is only 3 months old in these two photos yet he seems to know just what this bike is for. We didn't place his hands on the handle bars, he just grabbed for them! We found this retro looking bike at a yard sale over the summer and just had to have it. I can't wait for the day that he will be riding up and down the sidewalk on his own!

Gage, The Ladies Man!

Sure Gage is only a few months old now, but don't let that fool you! Daycare, the grocery store, Walmart and any where in between, Gage can get the ladies attention! This is a picture of my Girlfriend Jennifer with her two daughters. I know that I am his Mother and I may be partial, but he sure is one cute baby!

Generations of Family

I have fond memories of my Great Grandmother on my mom's side from when I was a child. We would sit and play cards for what seemed like hours and to this day I can vividly remember sitting in her living room. So I was quite happy when we found out that we were pregnant and realized that our son is blessed with both 2 Great Grandmas and Grandpas. For 3 of the 4 this is their first Great Grand child but for Grandma Myers, Gage is Great Grand Child #19! So some day I hope that Gage will have a fond memory of his Great Grand Parents just like both Greg & I do. If nothing else we will be able to show him these pictures and tell him how much he was loved by all of them!

Where has the time gone?

It's hard to believe that Fall is here. It's even harder for me to believe that my Summer baby is growing up so fast. He is just shy of three months old and I don't know where the time went. I was lucky enough to have 8 weeks of maternity leave to spend with my baby boy. And I enjoyed every minute of it. It just went by so fast. So here I sit, back to work full time so that I can be a contributor to our family.

I have to say that Greg & I were blessed with one of the best baby's there is. He is nothing but a joy to be around and we are told often. Something else that we hear often is "Boy he looks like his Daddy doesn't he?" This comment comes from family, friends and yes, complete strangers who never saw us before! I even asked Greg one day what it was like to have a mini-me? Of course he just smiled and I could just tell that he is proud to have his first born look just like him!

He has already passed a few of baby's first mile-stones. He is so alert and holding his head, smiling & laughing, and on the verge of rolling over. It's so much fun to see him learning new things and watch him grow in to this cool little man. Gage is starting to know when we leave & enter the room and he rewards us with some form of expression. You should see how much he adores his Daddy. Gage shows him daily with some of the biggest smiles and coo's! The picture on the left is a few weeks old already but this is one of his first smiles caught on camera!

Greg & I are the kind of people that can't stay in one place for too long and we weren't going to let a new baby hold us down! In the last three months we have taken Gage all over Pennsylvania, from North to South and East to West. Look for a different post with some photos of the places he has been and the people he's met in his short little life!
